University of Arizona Egyptian Expedition (UAEE)

The University of Arizona Egyptian Expedition (UAEE) was instituted in 1988 as a nonprofit scholarly entity committed to ongoing excavation, research, and conservation work in Egyptian archaeology. The Expedition's focal area of research has traditionally been the Valley of the Kings and the area of ancient Thebes around modern Luxor, Egypt, but includes all of what was ancient Egypt, including what is today the Sudan.

While independent from one another, the UAEE has grown in tandem with ARCE-AZ.
